Butler golfers now 2-0

Brayden Setnar earned medalist honors with a 34 Tuesday as Butler’s boys golf team defeated Slippery Rock, 155-167, at Oakview.

Now 2-0, the Golden Tornado host Shaler at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hiland.

Freeport 237, Highlands 293 — Jack Mason was medalist for the Yellowjackets (2-0), carding a 43 at Buffalo Golf Course.

Girls Golf

Moniteau won the KSAC Megamatch played at Clarion Oaks Golf Course.

The Warriors shot 169 and were led by Kendall Grossman’s 53.

Haley Pry added a 54 and Brynne Barger a 62 for the Warriors.
