4:54 a.m. Thursday — A truck driven by Patricia Moore, 20, of Butler and a truck driven by David Stehle, 56, of Butler collided at the intersection of Main and Jefferson streets. No injuries were reported.4:35 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Carl Collins, 40, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Amanda Whisinnad, 26, of Butler collided at the intersection of Monroe Street and McClain Avenue. No injuries were reported.2:21 a.m. Thursday — Christopher M. Banks, 25, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and not obeying traffic control signals following a traffic stop on West New Castle Street.1:21 a.m. Thursday — Nicholas A. Ferrer, 25, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, having an expired registration and disregarding traffic control devices following a traffic stop on Wayne Street.

8:30 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by a male juvenile, age unavailable, from Sarver sheared off a gas meter on Parker Road before fleeing. No injuries were reported.

3:50 p.m. Dec. 9 — An SUV driven by Raymond Burkhart, 49, of Glenshaw was on Route 38 in Center Township when it left the road at a curve, rolling onto its roof. Burkhart was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.5:40 p.m. Dec. 5 — The stolen 1984 Plymouth Reliant of Larry Priester, 61, of Butler was recovered in a wooded area off of Hall Road in Clay Township. The vehicle was stolen from an unspecified Butler Township location. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-284-8100.5:40 p.m. Wednesday — The stolen 2000 Chevrolet Blazer of a Pittsburgh man was recovered on Golden City Road in Jefferson Township. Ron Cooper's vehicle was stolen from an unspecified Pittsburgh location. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.

Dec. 8 — Two unidentified women allegedly stole the purses of Tina Weekes, 38, of Jackson Center, Pa., and Nicole Bice, 22, of Volant from the Welcome Home Store in the Prime Outlet Mall in Springfield Township and began using the victims' personal information and credit cards to buy items at stores between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. One of the suspects entered the back storage room of the Welcome Home Store, where the victims worked, and stole the purses from a locked filing cabinet. Along with credit cards, a check book and $100 was taken from Weekes' purse.Wednesday — Randy Bartolone of Grove City reported the theft of an unspecified amount of tube sand from the bed of his truck in the Tri-County Industries parking lot in Springfield Township between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.Wednesday — Kelly Miller of Grove City reported a case of identity theft. An unknown person obtained credit using Miller's personal information.Wednesday — Two white men, between 20 and 25, attempted to steal a pop machine from the front of Shockey's Shur-Fine Grocery Store on Liberty Street in Jamestown between 11 and 11:15 p.m. One of the men was wearing a florescent yellow coat. The suspects were riding in a full-size red Ford truck with a loud exhaust, which was later found at a nearby residence on Chestnut Street. Anyone witnessing the attempted theft should call police at 724-662-6162.
