David and Gladys Leech of Butler celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at W. Rick's Restaurant and a trip to South Dakota and Wyoming.

Leech and the former Gladys Nebel were married June 23, 1964, at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.

They are the parents of Michele Campbell of West Sunbury; Larry Leech of Maple Heights, Ohio; Gregory Leech of Richmond, Va.; and Matthew Leech of Lexington, Ky. They also have three grandchildren.

Leech retired in 2002 from Spang and Magnetics.

Mrs. Leech retired in 2003 from the County of Butler.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where she is a member of St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mothers.
