Netflix edits out crowd booing Kim Kardashian at Tom Brady roast

An awkward moment from Tom Brady’s roast during which Kim Kardashian was heavily booed by the crowd has been edited out from the newly released Netflix special.

“The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” which aired live on the streamer Sunday, featured plenty of embarrassing moments for the stars in attendance who hurled insults at one another, but Kardashian’s arrival at the podium proved too much for Netflix decision-makers.

The audible boos were heard during the live broadcast, as Kardashian stood staring at the audience, waiting for them to quiet down.

“Alright, alright,” she says to the crowd, as another voice onstage can be heard saying “Woah woah woah,” trying to get the crowd to calm down.

One source close to the production told The Hollywood Reporter that Netflix edited out only the boos, but kept the rest of Kardashian’s speech.

After the crowd quieted, Kardashian went ahead with her scripted jokes.

“I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might,” she said. “Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not, I’d just release the tape. … I’ll give you the same advice I give all of my exes: good luck knowing the best is behind you.”

While Netflix decided to cut the boos, they left in many jaw-dropping jokes, including one that took aim at Kardashian.

Travis Kelce

While his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift resumes her world Eras tour, Travis Kelce is keeping busy.

The NFL player has joined the cast of “Grotesquerie" on FX. The series is a horror drama from Ryan Murphy, but a spokesperson for the network says it is not under the “American Horror Story” umbrella.

Late Tuesday, cast member Niecy Nash posted a series of videos to Instagram featuring her on set with Kelce.

“Guys, guess who I am working with on ‘Grotesquerie’?" Kelce pops into frame and says, "Jumpin’ into new territory with Niecy.” A later video where she wrote “late night shenanigans” showed the two in what appeared to be a red convertible. “Look at this guy,” she says. “Buckle up!” added Kelce.

And a final video featured Murphy embracing Kelce and saying, “You were wonderful.” Off camera, Nash asks, “How do you feel?" Kelce replied, “Whoo! I'm just glad I didn't hurt nobody.”

It's been an off-season of new jobs for the three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He also taped a stint as host of“Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?” for Prime Video.

Kelce hosted an episode of “Saturday Night Live” last year.

Murphy has a history of interesting casting choices for his TV shows. In 2015, he cast Lady Gaga for a role on “American Horror Story: Hotel.” She went on to win a Golden Globe for her performance. Last year, he also chose Kim Kardashian for a role on “American Horror Story: Delicate” opposite Emma Roberts. Kardashian received positive reviews for her performance and now has other acting TV projects in the works.

Cardi B

NEW YORK — Cardi B and estranged husband Offset might just be on again — or at least that’s how it looked when they arrived together at the Met Gala after-party, five months after announcing their latest split.

The Bronx-raised “WAP” rapper, 31, and Migos alum, 32, were spotted holding hands at Casa Cipriani on Monday, where they attended Richie Akiva’s 10th Annual “The After” celebration, following the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s fashion extravaganza. The two were also seen walking in together to nightclub Silencio for another after-party, per E! News.

Unlike the sprawling Giambattista Valli gown Cardi wore to the “Garden of Time”-themed gala, the Revolve Atelier red corset dress she sported to the after-party was more form-fitting. Offset did not attend the red carpet event but donned a floral Miu Miu jacket and ripped jeans for the party.

Cardi confirmed back in December that she and Offset— who wed in 2017 and share daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2 — had called it quits, noting she’d “been single for a minute now.”

“I want to start 2024, like, fresh, open,” said Cardi, who in 2020 filed for divorce, though it’s never been finalized. “I’m curious for a new life. A new beginning. I’m excited.”

But Cardi and Offset’s relationship — which last summer included allegations of an extramarital affair— hasn’t seemed any more clear cut in recent months.

She revealed in early January that though they were not back together, as many had speculated, they’d slept together on New Year’s Eve. They then spent another holiday together, enjoying dinner on Valentine’s Day, once again giving grist to the rumor mill.

In early March, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper debuted her“Like What (Freestyle)” video, helmed by Offset. Just last week, she and the “Clout” rapper were seen sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden during a New York Knicks playoff game.
