VA Butler Healthcare is hosting its 14th annual VA 2K Walk & Roll from Tuesday to Thursday, May 14 to 16, at locations in Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.

The annual event encourages people to live active lifestyles and allows participants to support homeless veterans through voluntary donations of nonperishable food, clothing and other personal care items. Veterans Affairs medical centers across the nation participate in this event, which often includes a short 2-kilometer walk, according to a May 1 news release from the VA.

The VA Butler Healthcare System will have the walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15.

Information tables will be available at the event sharing information about VA health care eligibility and enrollment; the PACT Act; suicide prevention; women veteran programs; health and wellness programs; and more, as well as interactive activities.
