Weleski, Bocian

Maria Weleski of Sarver and Brian Bocian of Harwick were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. March 20 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot. The Rev. Bryan Borger officiated. A reception followed at the Buffalo Township Fire Hall in Buffalo Township.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Cynthia Weleski of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Christine Bocian of Pittsburgh.

The matron of honor was Tammy Young of Butler. Bridesmaids were Jessica Kline of New Castle, Rachael Potocnak of Sarver, Shannon Lidstone of Butler and Paula Shaffer and Rosie Trump, both of Greensburg. The flower girl was Aleah Young of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Michael Dreger of Pittsburgh. Ushers were Keith Bocian, Matthew Bocian and Jason Leonard, all of Pittsburgh; Scott Basel of Slippery Rock; and Michael Knauer of Mechanicsburg.

The bride graduated in 1999 from Freeport High School and in 2003 from Slippery Rock University. She works at AIM Healthcare in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Perry Traditional Academy and in 2002 from Slippery Rock University. He is employed at Lantek/Allegheny Lundlum in Brackenridge.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Caribbean, the couple is making their home in Harwick.
