Slagle, Price
Bruin residents Amy Slagle and Joshua Price exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. May 8 at Parker United Methodist Church in Parker. The Rev. Dave Bowman officiated. A reception followed at the Petrolia Social Hall in Petrolia.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Cindy Slagle of Bruin. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Denise Price of Petrolia.
The honor attendant was Carolyn McCall of Slippery Rock. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hobaugh of Chicora, Courtney Slagle and Melanie Price, both of Petrolia, Brandi Stroup of Hilliards, Tara Everetts of Bruin and Jamie Sheakley of Karns City. The flower girl was Macy McCall of Slippery Rock.
Performing the duties of best man was Jesse
of Chicora. Ushers were Sam Claypoole of Streetsboro, Ohio, Bob Hackbarth of Parker, Steve Stroup of Hilliards, Adam Bell of Kaylor, Bobby Saylor of Bruin and Travis Reed of Karns City. The ring bearer was Marcus McCall of Slippery Rock.
The bride graduated in 1997 from Karns City High School and in 2000 from Butler County Community College. She works at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2000 from Penn State University. He works for Central Electric Cooperative in Parker.
The couple is living in Bruin.
