Long, Fisher

Former Harrisville residents Nora Long and David Fisher were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 4 at their home in Kent, Wash. Judge Franklin Thorpe officiated. A reception followed at The Restaurant in Kent.

The bride is the daughter of Clyde and Laurabelle Long of Harrisville. Parents of the groom are the late John and Rebecca Fisher of Harrisville.

The honor attendant was Mary Jane Brandon of Slippery Rock.

Performing the duties of best man was the groom's son, Robert Fisher of Seattle.

The bride is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Slippery Rock University. She was previously employed at the Bailey Library at Slippery Rock University.

The groom is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Renton Vocational Technical Institute. He is employed at the Boeing Corporation.

Following a honeymoon trip to Disney World, the couple is making their home in Kent.
