Nicole Christie and R.J. Karenbauer Jr., both of Butler, exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. June 5 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. Richard Karenbauer officiated. A reception followed at Vagabond Hall in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of Lee and Debbie Christie of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Ron and Diana Karenbauer of Chicora.

The matron of honor was Geri Rees of Butler. Bridesmaids were JoLynn Karenbauer of Chicora and Lisa Walborn and Jessica Bosco, both of Butler. Flower girls were Madison Rees and Kayla Karenbauer, both of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Todd Karenbauer of Butler. Groomsmen were Justin Etzel, Justin Clouse and Jeff Taylor, all of Butler.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School and a 1999 graduate of Butler County Community College. She is employed at Keystone Bleacher Sales in Butler.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School. He is employed at Shields Asphalt Paving.

Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, the couple is making their home in Butler.
