Smith, Rodgers
Corinne Smith of Chicora and Doug Rodgers of Butler were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 17 at Mater Dolorosa Church in Chicora. The Rev. Lou Pascazi officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Center.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Deborah Smith of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Fred and Carolyn Rodgers of Chicora.
The honor attendant was Amy O'Donnell of Boardman, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Krista Jordan of Fort Collins, CO; Krisi Waltman of Westfield, N.J.; Lindsey Hurley and Ginger Rodgers, both of Pittsburgh; and Bobbi Rodgers of Imperial.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Dustin Robinson of Butler. Ushers were Chad Hershberger, Josh Anderson, Jeremy Scherer and Chad Smith, all of Chicora and Steve Rodgers of Cranberry Township.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2004 from Duquesne University. She works as a pharmacist at Shop 'N Save in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2002 from Waynesburg College. He is a teacher at Knoch High School in Saxonburg.
After honeymooning in St. Lucia, the couple is living in Butler.
