5:49 a.m. Tuesday — A black and gray, 18-inch Craftsman chainsaw was found in the 500 block of North Main Street. The owner can claim the property by calling police at 724-287-7743.7:34 p.m. Thursday — Richard Ball, 43, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he drove up to a Fourth Avenue home where police had gone to investigate a disorderly conduct complaint.7:25 a.m. Thursday — Cars driven by John McGouldrick, 44, of Butler and Robert Thibodeau, 17, of Center Township collided on Pillow Street. The collision pushed Thibodeau's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Gary Nelson, 60, of Worthington, Armstrong County.Nelson and a passenger in McGouldrick's car, Tiffany McGouldrick, 15, of Butler, suffered unknown injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

12:20 a.m. April 17 — Vehicles driven by Rory Saltzman, 50, of Clinton, N.J., and Gerald Monaco, 55, of Pittsburgh collided near Routes 68 and 19.2:37 p.m. April 10 — Vehicles driven by Courtney Nicole Terry, 19, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, and Christine Pietrusewicz, 38, of Zelienople collided at South Clay and West Beaver streets. Pietrusewicz was taken to an unknown hospital for injuries. Terry was cited for failure to obey stops signs and yield signs.5:36 p.m. April 10 — Vehicles driven by Sondra Lintz, 62, of Slippery Rock, and Andrew James Didinger, 20, of Fombell, Beaver County, collided at Short Street and East Grandview Avenue.

3:23 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Gail Miller, 52, of Chicora struck the rear of a car driven by Dennis Shook, 64, of Butler, on Oneida Valley Road in Oakland Township. Miller's car traveled into the opposite lane and sideswiped a car driven by Ashley Miller, 17, of Butler. Gail Miller was cited for careless driving.Monday — Police reported that a 23-year-old Karns City man, who they did not identify, is suspected of passing at least five bad checks totaling $587 at the Chicora Beer Distributor in Chicora. The bad checks were written since April 4. The investigation continues.
