Clyde H. Knauf

Clyde H. Knauf, 77, of Harmony died Friday at his home.

Born Jan. 19, 1928, in Harmony, he was the son of Frank W. and Louise A. Herold Knauf.

He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Butler Farm Show, various poultry clubs, and he co-founded the Harmony Poultry Club along with his brothers Archie and Franklin.

He was also a poultry exhibitor and the third generation owner of the Knauf Feed Mill in Harmony. He was a lifetime member of St. Peters Reformed Church. He enjoyed gardening and movies.

Surviving are a brother and his wife, Arthur "Archie" and Lois Knauf of Harmony; two sisters, Dorothy M. Knauf of Harmony and Louise F. Drushel of Evans City; a number of nieces and nephews; and a number of grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard Knauf and Franklin Knauf; and two sisters, Eleanor Knauf and Margaret Sharrar.

KNAUF - Friends of Clyde H. Knauf, who died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople with the Rev. James Bertoti, his pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Peter's Reformed Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Reformed Church, 314-320 E.
