Eugene and Helen Manuel of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a Mass at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and a family dinner Saturday at St. Peter's Hall in Butler.

The former Helen Groszkiewicz married Manuel on April 16, 1955 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Tarentum.

They have four children, Tim Manuel, Cindy Reddick and Gary Manuel, all of Butler, and Terry Manuel of Economy Borough.

They also have five grandchildren.

Manuel is retired from Armco. He belongs to First United Methodist Church in Butler.

Mrs. Manuel is a homemaker. She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
