Michael Burk threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for two scores as the Grove City football team rolled past Greenville 35-6 Friday night at Forker Field.

The Eagles (8-1) led 35-0 by halftime.

Justin Burk recovered a botched punt in the end zone to get Grove City on the board in the first quarter. Michael Burk scored on runs of 1 and 2 yards, then hooked up with Dwayne Martin for an 84-yard touchdown pass and with Austin Kimes for a 44-yard score.

Taylor Malson scored on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter to avert the shutout for Greenville (7-2).

Chris Clark carried 15 times for 136 yards for Grove City.

Keystone 42, A-CValley 0 — Ben Black and Dan Reed each threw for over 100 yards and Derek Swartfager scored three touchdowns for the Panthers (5-4, 4-3).Swartfager scored on runs of 6, 3 and 17 yards. Black threw touchdown passes of 6 and 72 yards to Kyle Rhoads. Black threw for 121 yards and Reed threw for 111. A-CValley slipped to 0-8 with the loss.

Summit Academy 20, Cornell 6 — Theo Betts ran for 143 yards and a touchdown for the Knights (5-4, 5-3), and Terry Davis caught a touchdown pass from LaRon Green.With the win, Summit Academy kept alive its hopes of attaining the wild-card playoff berth in WPIALClass AA.Hockey

Upper St. Clair 6, Butler 3 — Dave Wolfe, Pat Wellner and Beau Bechtel scored goals for the Golden Tornado (1-1) in this Thursday loss. Justin O'Donnell made 19 saves in goal.R.C. Double, Zach Pennington, Tanner Master and Josh Elsass had assists for Butler, which plays State College at 7 p.m. Monday at the Ice Connection.
