<B>Carnegie Museum of Art</B>, 4400 Forbes Ave., opens "Life on Mars, the 2008 Carnegie International" on Saturday. The exhibit featuring 40 emerging and established artists from 17 countries will continue through Jan. 11. The exhibit "Ecology.Design.Synergy," an exhibition of recent collaborative work by an architectural firm and an environmental engineering company, runs through May 25. "Great British Art: 200 Years of Watercolors, Drawings, and Prints from The Bank of New York Mellon Collection," continues through May 18 featuring a nearly comprehensive survey of major trends and genres of the period from the mid-1700s through the 1950s. <B>Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts</B>, 124 E. Leasure Ave., New Castle, presents its 35th Regional Juried Exhibition with 72 works from 50 artists. Making the selections for this year's show was Dr. Louis Zona, executive director at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio. The exhibition continues through May 16. Alongside the 35th Hoyt Regional, the Sunroom Gallery contains an exhibition of works from Slippery Rock University's Art Seminar Class, featuring paintings, ceramics, photography, printmaking, digital media and metals. And featured in the Blair Sculpture Walkway gallery is the New Castle Camera Club's annual juried photography exhibition. The club has more than 65 members, including some from Butler.
