I didn't get to attend, but I did find it odd that Kelly didn't see fit to invite anyone from any part of the healthcare industry, or anyone with any insurance expertise.

Business owners only have insight into end-user administration issues under the current system. By their own admission, many aren't even competent enough to know what the impact of the new regulations will be on their operations, since few have yet to be implemented.

Of course, I'm sure all those "business leaders" were Republicans who support Mike Kelly. Personally, I doubt any of them would want to run their business with a political litmus test for any individuals or ideas. So why they insist on bringing such an attitude to government is beyond me.

Let's bring together a non-partisan panel of professionals to discuss the real problems with our health care system and start proposing potential solutions.
