Carmel K. Solari of Butler died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Girard, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Maria Christopher Ezzo.

Mrs. Solari was retired from Troutman's Department Store, where she worked as a sales clerk for 30 years.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was also a 15-year member of the Foster Grandparent Program.

Surviving are a son, Leo Solari of Butler; a sister, Theresa Martino of Girard, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Solari was preceded in death by her husband, Lido J. Parse Solari, who died April 26, 1988; a son, and four brothers.

<B>SOLARI</B> — Friends of Carmel K. Solari, who died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>MARTIN FUNERAL HOME</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler. AMass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. The Rev. James Dolan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home for a scriptural wake service.
