SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Troy Cornman Jr., 20, of Freeport waived to court charges of driving under the influence and a lane violation, filed March 13 by Buffalo Township police.

Dawn Eckstein, 36, of Evans City waived to court charges of DUI, a traffic signal violation and making an illegal turn, filed March 17 by Buffalo Township police.

Rebecca Thimons, 23, of Ford City waived to court charges of DUI, a lane violation, and making an illegal turn, filed March 22 by Buffalo Township police.

Mark Vorp, 23, of Freeport waived to court charges of DUI, driving an uninspected vehicle, driving without proper lighting and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Nov. 29 by Buffalo Township police.

Michael Whitacre, 25, of Erie waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed March 10 by state police.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Eric Matthew Venezie, 22, of Ellwood City waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Venezie Jan. 30 with two counts of driving under the influence, two counts of turning movements, two counts of fail to use safety belt system and improper sun screening.Kyle Anthony Baker, 18, of 140 Beaus Road, Portersville, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Baker Feb. 21 with use or possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.Stephen Brad Scannell, 49, of Cortland, Ohio, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Scannell Feb. 23 with driving under the influence.Christopher D. Gaiser, 23, of 761 Unionville Road, Prospect, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Gaiser March 6 with interference with custody of children, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, accident involving damage to attended vehicle, careless driving, reckless driving, fail to stop and give information or render aid, disregard traffic lane, turning movements, drive at safe speed and obstruction of administering of law.Scott J. Gallagher, 20, of 205 Crestwood Drive, Sarver, waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged Gallagher March 6 with two counts of driving under the influence, minor prohibited operating with alcohol in system, duties at stop sign and purchase of alcoholic beverage by minor.Michael L. Rose, 19, of Houston waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged Rose March 6 with driving under the influence, minor prohibited operating with alcohol in system and purchase of alcoholic beverage by minor.William George Miller, 20, of 476 Slater Road, Parker, waived his case to court. Harrisville police charged Miller March 7 with criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct.Tyler James Coast, 20, of 271 Cocain Road, Harrisville, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Coast March 7 with two counts of driving under the influence, exceed 55 miles per hour and operating vehicle without valid inspection.Willie L. Evans, 20, of Philadelphia waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged Evans March 7 with two counts of driving under the influence, minor prohibited operating with alcohol in system, no headlights and purchase of alcohol by minor.Alexander J. Maki, 19, of Lancaster waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged Maki March 7 with intentional possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and purchase of alcoholic beverage by minor.James Garfield Hall, 25, of 1524 Barkeyville Road, Grove City, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Hall March 14 with two counts of driving under the influence, driving at safe speed, careless driving and fail to use safety belt system.Clair Lee Greenway III, 29, of 480 New Castle St. Apt. 2, Slippery Rock, waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Greenway March 14 with two counts of driving under the influence, fail to keep right and careless driving.David R. Pontzer, 19, of Kersey waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged Pontzer March 14 with driving under the influence and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.Roger Lee Reynolds, 22, of New Castle pleaded guilty in his case. State police in Butler charged Reynolds Feb. 8 with possession of marijuana, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

WORTH TWP, Mercer County — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard this case:Jessica Lin Tribble, 27, of 256 Crystal Lane, Slippery Rock, had her case held for court. Grove City police charged Tribble March 6 with two counts of driving under the influence, endangering welfare of children, improper stop, not discontinue signal and restriction on alcoholic beverages.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases filed by Butler Township police:Jessica Burka, 20, of Lyndora was held for court on a charge of retail theft filed Jan. 3.Mark Eiler, 19, of Butler was held for court on charges of fraudulent, altered or forged plates, possession of illegal documents, false identification to law enforcement, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving with a suspended license, filed March 6.Joseph Gibson, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of forgery, identity theft, theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and conspiracy, filed April. 3.Michelle Kaiser, 34, of Clairton, Allegheny County, waived to court a bad check charge filed Feb. 23.James Palmer, 59, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, waived to court a charge of retail theft filed Dec. 22.Jennifer Palmer, 35, of Natrona Heights waived to court a charge of retail theft filed Dec. 22.Phillip Eugene Smith, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft and trespass filed March 31.Daria Temple, 22, of Butler waived to court charges of forgery, theft by deception and conspiracy and receiving stolen property.John Zulick, 39, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia filed Jan. 7. He was ordered to pay $1,048.50 in fines and court costs.Zulick in a separate case, pleaded guilty to charge of disorderly conduct filed Jan. 12. He was ordered to pay $430 in fines and court costs.Meanwhile, in a case filed March 2 by the Butler County detectives, Christopher Reinhart, 27, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
