Stanley and Nancy Paytas of Butler celebrated their 50th anniversary recently with a family dinner. Another celebration is planned at a later date.

The former Nancy McCall married Paytas on Feb. 11, 1956, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

They have three children, Linda Protzman of Saxonburg; James Paytas of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Robert Paytas of Butler.

They also have four granddaughters.

Paytas is retired from Armco Steel. He is a member of the Meridian Veterans Club.

Mrs. Paytas is a homemaker. She is a member of the MBSA and Universe bowling leagues.

The couple belongs to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, where Mrs. Paytas is a member of the Christian Mothers.
