Pauline (Geibel) Birckbichler-Parr, 102, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.

Pauline was born in Herman on Jan. 13, 1922, to the late Daniel Geibel and Louise (Wallace) Geibel-Barber.

She retired from the VA Medical Center as an LPN in 1975, then she moved to Florida. She was an active member of the Red Hats and Knights of Columbus. She also loved to play bingo. Above all else she loved spending time with her family and friends and there was nothing she was more proud of than being the matriarch of six generations.

She was the beloved mother of Louis (Dorothy) Birckbichler of Chicora and Peggy McCorkle of Butler; and sister of William (Slyvia) Barber of Butler, Annabelle Bergbigler of Florida, Donna Stevens of Eau Claire and Tillie Sequite of Renfrew. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; seven great-great-great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Leroy Troutman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Sylvester Birckbichler, whom she married on April 12, 1939, and who passed away on June 28, 1992, she was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Birckbichler, and daughter, Theresa Troutman; her sisters, Cecelia Klepper and Daisy Mae Saelor; her infant brother, Ralph; three grandsons; one great-grandson; and son-in-law, Earl McCorkle.

BIRCKBICHLER-PARR — Family and friends of Pauline (Geibel) Birckbichler-Parr, who died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately on Monday at Calvary Cemetery.
