Martin and Mary Lou Kuss

Martin and Mary Lou Kuss Jr. of Mars will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house and dinner for family and friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Mars VFW.

Kuss married the former Mary Lou Caye on Nov. 25, 1960, in Pittsburgh.

They have three children, Mark Kuss of Pittsburgh, Sandra Kuss Lazar of Washington, Pa., and James Kuss of Hudson, N.Y.

They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kuss is retired from Port Authority of Allegheny County. He is a member of St. Killian’s in Mars.

Mrs. Kuss is employed by Miller Screen and Designs in Mars. She is a member of Mars United Presbyterian Church.
