8 a.m. Monday - A leather briefcase, purse and diaper bag were reported taken from a vehicle on North Duffy Road in Center Township. The property is valued at $200.Saturday - A Dayton chainsaw, Craftsman weed-eater and a 55-gallon drum of scrap aluminum were taken between Aug. 17 and Saturday from a garage in a burglary at a Riemer Road home in Jefferson Township. Raymond and Colette Sharkins of Cheswick, Allegheny County, own the stolen property.

9:50 p.m. Aug. 13 - Someone set fire to a mailbox at the Courtney Mills Road home of Jane Prokay in Liberty Township, Mercer County.
