The Presidents' Athletic Conference will add Thomas More College as its seventh member beginning in the 2005-06 season.
Thomas More, located in Crestview Hills, Ky., a suburb of Cincinnati, will join Grove City, Washington & Jefferson, Thiel, Waynesburg, Bethany and Westminster.
Charles Rock of Butler is taking part in the 19th National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic this week in Snowmass Village, Colo.The clinic promotes rehabilitation by instructing severely disabled veterans in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing. There are 322 veterans from across the country participating in the event.
Professional wrestling returns to Butler at 8 p.m. Friday when the Days Inn serves as host of the FNW Wrestling event.The card includes Butler's Seth James and Brian O will face T. Rantula and a mystery former WWE star.Also scheduled to participate: Ring of Honor World Champion Austin Aires vs. Super Indy Star Sterling James Keenan; Rebel's Army vs. The Gambino Brothers; Lord Zoltan vs. Battman; Butler's Mauler Tom Kerr, Justin Idol, Dirk Ciglar, Kris Krude and more.Tickets are $12 and $10, $7 for children under 12 and are available at the Days Inn or at the door.
