Butler volleyball sweeps Fox Chapel
Led by Taylor Welter's 16 kills and 14 digs, Butler's girls volleyball team swept visiting Fox Chapel Thursday night.
Megan Penrod tallied 17 digs and Bella Shook two kills and four digs for Butler, which won by scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-22.
Sophia Wogan added an ace and three digs for the Golden Tornado (3-4, 4-4).
Freeport 3, Mars 1 — The Yellowjackets dropped the match's first set to the Planets, 21-25, before running away with the next three — 25-10, 25-14, and 25-16.

Jenna Stefanacci contributed 21 assists, 11 service points and eight digs.
Paige Klingler and Bella Ielase combined for 11 kills.
