St. Andrew Orthodox Church will have a Sunday service at Moraine State Park this weekend, where its congregation will pray over the waters of Lake Arthur.

The Blessing of the Water is a tradition for the church. It was previously scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 14, to coincide with the day Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, according to deacon Wayne Truckley.

The 1 p.m. ceremony is at Pleasant Valley Beach on Moraine’s South Shore.
