Jeffrey Phipps
Jeffrey P. Phipps, 67, of Monaca, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
He was born in Butler, on Sept. 20, 1956, a son of the late John Marshall and Josephine Lustina (Dobransky) Phipps.
He was the father of Jeffrey Paul (Candance) Phipps II and Heather Jane (Shawon) Mahaffey; brother of Joyce Maphis, Janine Harvey and John Phipps II and the late Judith Jander; grandfather of Stella Mahaffey, Caleb Harman, Jeffrey Phipps II and Josie Phipps; uncle of Edwin Maphis II, Matthew Maphis, David Maphis, Jennifer Ratcliff, John Ratcliff II, William Jander II and Justina (Jander) Perrot. He is also survived by former spouse, Tamera Maker; and his cat, Charity.
Jeff was a graduate from Butler High School and later Computer Tech in Pittsburgh. He worked as a general worker for Schafer GMC in Butler, a shift supervisor for Thrift Drug and the lead help desk analyst for the North Allegheny School District in McCandless.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed playing golf, bowling and baseball and football in his younger years. He found joy in spending time with friends, going out to dinner, getting together with family, watching movies, going to concerts, listening to music, and anything Pittsburgh sports. A natural class clown, Jeff used his sense of humor to make people laugh.
PHIPPS — Friends of Jeffrey P. Phipps, who died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at R.D. COPELAND FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township. There will be no formal service and interment will be private.
