Reeves 50th anniversary
Donald and Joyce Reeves of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with dinner with friends and family and a reception at the home of their son Mark.
Reeves married the former Joyce Filges on Oct. 22, 1960, in Winchester, Va.
They have four children, Kevin Reeves Sr. of Chicora, Karen Fencil of West Sunbury, Kelli Rensel of Meridian and Mark Reeves of Butler.
They also have six grandchildren.
Reeves is retired. He worked as a die setter for 18 years at Pullman Standard and as a metal fabricator for 20 years at Dennis Filges Inc. He enjoys golfing, gardening and traveling.
Mrs. Reeves is retired as hostess at St. Barnabas Retirement Village. She currently works in food service for the Butler School District.She enjoys gardening, flower arranging and traveling.Mr. and Mrs. Reeves belong to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
