Barbara J. Curry

Barbara J. Fennell Curry, 72, of Saxonburg, formerly of the North Side, died peacefully Tuesday in the comfort of her home.

Born Jan. 27, 1935, in Penn Township, she was the daughter of Roy F. and Genevieve Buchannan Fennell.

Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was truly a matriarch, who, along with her husband, raised six wonderful and loving children. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She was the beloved wife of Raymond B. Curry Jr., whom she married March 20, 1953; loving mother of Deborah E. Schirra of Renfrew, Ramona G. Mlikan of Meridian, Diana R. Ratay of Saxonburg, Raymond B. Curry III of Bakerstown and Shawn S. Curry of West Deer Township; and dear sister of Carole Jacobs of Butler. She also is survived by 18 loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Abeloved daughter, Linda A. Adler, preceded her in death.

<B>CURRY </B>— Friends of Barbara J. Fennell Curry, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Steven Fisher will officiate. Burial will follow at the Bakerstown Cemetery, Richland Township.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Foundation, 1302 E.
