JEFFERSON TWP — Dave Keibler, principal at the South Butler Primary School, will serve his last day in the district Nov. 18, announced Assistant Superintendent Richard Cavett.

Keibler, who has been with the district for four years, accepted a position as an elementary principal in the Leechburg School District, Cavett said.

Before working in South Butler, he was an elementary principal in Moniteau.

Cavett said South Butler is in its final round of interviews, with a candidate in mind for board approval during the next board meeting.

The board meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the library of Knoch Middle School, 754 Dinnerbell Road.
