Master Gardeners plan spring classes
Spring Fever Gardening Classes are being offered by Master Gardeners Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Alameda Park in Butler Township and the Cranberry Township Municipal Center starting in April.
“It’s a Butterfly World: How to Attract Beautiful Creatures to Your Garden” will be Thursday in Cranberry.
“What are These Weeds and Where Did They Come From?” will be Tuesday at Alameda and April 21 in Cranberry.
“Vegetable Container Gardening” will be April 26 at Alameda and April 28 in Cranberry.

Other events sponsored by the Master Gardeners are:
14th annual Spring Garden Market and Home Show at Alameda Park, Butler Township, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 21. There will be a plant sale, entertainment, food, children’s activities and many home and nursery vendors on the grounds.
Mars Library Speaker Series featuring composting on Thursday and native and invasive plants on May 19. Sessions run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. To register, call 724-625-9048.
