Louis R. Hilderhoff

Louis R. Hilderhoff, 88, of Butler died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday in his home.

Born Jan. 6, 1920, in Etna, he was the son of Louis and Edna Philips Hilderhoff.

Mr. Hilderhoff was a truck driver for the Haser Trucking Co. in Millvale. He retired in 1983.

He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II.

Mr. Hilderhoff is survived by his wife, Donna M. Jones Hilderhoff; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Beverly) Klinefelter of Gibsonia, and Mrs. Dan (Lynette) Hartmann of Butler; two grandsons, Ron Jr., and Jeffrey; three granddaughters, Gwen, Becky, and Kim; a great-granddaughter, Julia; a great-grandson, Andrew; a sister, Mrs. Anna Wardle of Ross Township; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a sister, and a brother.

<B>HILDERHOFF</B>— Friends of Louis R. Hilderhoff, who died Saturday, March 15, 2008, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Blessing services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Albert Gallatin Hospice, 201 S.
