State police are requesting information about a theft of copper transformers that occurred in East Butler last month.

According to documents, between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 16, suspects came onto a property near Marie and Railroad Streets.

Police said the suspects disconnected the transformers from a piece of broken equipment.

The estimated value of the transformers is $4,000, documents showed.
