Bertha S. Gosciewski, 94, of Rhodes Estates, New Castle, formerly of Ellwood City, died Tuesday morning.

She was born in Alden, Pa., July 10, 1914, to the late George Victor and the late Sophie Victor.

She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish Church in Ellwood City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Stanley J. Gosciewski, who died Aug. 17, 1988. As the last of her family, she also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, John, Joseph and Paul Victor and Mary Slabinski.

She is survived by two daughters and a son, Joan Evans of Ellwood City, Barbara (and James) Leise of Slippery Rock and S. William (and Betsy) Gosciewski of Sidney, Ohio. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

A blessing service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
