Kozy Rest park gets national honorHARRISVILLE — Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest was named a national Park of the Year for 2015 from among thousands of parks nationwide.The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds recently honored Kozy Rest with the Medium-Sized Park of the Year Award for the third time in five years.In addition to this, the park received numerous franchise system awards at the annual Yogi Bear Franchise Symposium:The Pinnacle Club Award for a high inspection rate of the park; Outstanding Customer Service Award and Outstanding Recreation Programming Award; Outstanding Achievement for Camp Resort Comfort Station; and the Jim Webb Spirit Award for commitment to the Jellystone Park system.
