11:23 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Regis Laconi, 80, of Butler Township and a van driven by Ronald Wiles, 40, of West Sunbury collided at West Cunningham and Mercer streets.Tuesday — Police are investigating thefts at a pair of city offices. The same unknown man is suspected of taking personal belongings that were left unattended while the businesses were open.The suspect is described as white, between 35 and 45 years old, about six feet tall, and short brown hair.Police said the thefts should serve as a reminder for individuals to watch their property at all times, to avoid falling prey to thieves.

1:30 a.m. Wednesday — David Lee McCorry Jr., 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 173 in Slippery Rock.9:25 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Kyle Baker, no age given, of Butler struck a utility pole along Old Route 422 in Franklin Township.7:33 p.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Richard Gold, 49, of Hilliards struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Branchton Road near Old Mill Road in Washington Township. Gold, who was not wearing a seat belt, was flown with moderate injuries to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.Tuesday — Items were moved around and property damaged but nothing was taken in a burglary at the Country Lane Road home of Charles Lindey in Prospect. The break-in occurred between 6:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
