Regis and Elizabeth Nichter

Regis and Elizabeth Nichter of Butler recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Nichter married the former Elizabeth Bikowsky on Nov. 23, 1963, at St. Paul Church in Butler.

They have four children, Theresa (Philip) Piroch, Joseph (Beth) Nichter and Ronald Nichter, all of Butler, and Patricia (Tim) Gray of Cabot.

They also have two grandchildren.

Nichter is a retired postal worker.

He was a longtime volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys bowling and golf.

Mrs. Nichter is a housewife.

She is involved with the women’s group of St. Peter’s Church and enjoys gardening and bowling.

The Nichters are members of St. Peter’s Church, Butler.
