William F. “Bill” Crawford, 74, of Evans City died Friday at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 6, 1936, in Ford City, he was the son of the late Walter and Louise (Cujas) Crawford.

Bill proudly served his country during the Korean War and was a member of Evans City VFW.

He was a chemistry and physics teacher who retired in 1993 from the Seneca Valley School District.

Bill also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Beth (Kleiber) Crawford, who he married June 7, 1991; two daughters, Linda Long and her husband, Scott, of Prospect and Cindy Jo Crawford of Ohio; and their mother, Nancy Jo; a brother, Frederick Crawford of Butler; three sisters, Shirley Olinger of Evans City, Connie Spencer of Ford City and Darlene Scopel of Ford City; and two great-grandchildren, Cameryn Steel and Broklyn Finley Steel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Crawford; a grandson, Charles Steel; a brother, James Crawford; and a sister, Judy Klingensmith.

<B>CRAWFORD</B> — Friends of William F. “Bill” Crawford, who died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, were received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E.
