WORTH TWP — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:

Jason Bradley Wilson, 23, of 638 N. Broad St. Extension, Grove City, had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Wilson Sept. 28 with driving under the influence and failure to stop at a red signal.

David Karry Harton, 51, of Mercer had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Harton on Oct. 3 with driving under the influence and exceeding maximum speed limit.

Wayne E. McNutt, 41, of 312 College Ave., Grove City, pled guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana, filed Oct. 13 by state police in Mercer.

Larry Eugene Snow Jr., 36, of 302 N. Center St., Grove City, had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Snow Aug. 30 with driving under the influence.

Eric Allen Cummings, 39, of Polk had his case held for court. Cummings was charged Sept. 6 by state police in Mercer with driving under the influence, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

Raymond Lewis Gargasz, 62, of Volant had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Gargasz Sept. 29 with driving under the influence.

Eric Matthew Gladd, 26, of 50 S. Church St., Clintonville, had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Gladd Sept. 13 with driving under the influence.

Gregory Edward Eagan, 21, of Franklin, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Eagan Aug. 22 with burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Christopher Shayne Bowser, 18, of 399 Barron Road, Slippery Rock, waived charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle and criminal mischief to court. Charges were filed Sept. 15 by state police in Butler. In a separate case, Bowser pled guilty to a charge of simple assault filed Aug. 8 by state police in Butler.Stephen James Kurz, 25, of 36 Hickory St., Butler, had his case waived to court. State police in Butler charged Kurz on Sept. 15 with driving under the influence, failure to keep right and turning movements.Sarah Marie Backus, 19, of 172 Cameron Drive, Slippery Rock, had her case waived to court. State police in Butler charged Backus Sept. 15 with driving under the influence, no rear lights and minor prohibited from operating with alcohol.Eric M. Challburg, 18, of Pittsburgh had his case held for court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Challburg Oct. 11 with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Melissa B. Case, 43, of Clinton pled guilty to a charge of bad checks filed Sept. 27 by Slippery Rock police.
