Butler Church of the NazareneMusic for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will be provided by the Rev. Robert Calhoon. Christ Community U.M.Women attending the annual fall retreat at Olmsted Manor will meet at 6 p.m. Friday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township, to carpool. There will be a stop for dinner.An informational meeting tor members participating in the Holy Land trip with the Rev. Oden and Debbie Warman is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.Come and Get It will celebrate Oktoberfest from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.The Rustees, retired men and women of the church, will gather at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 at Panera Bread. Christ's OutreachVicki Palmer will present special music for the Sunday service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave.The newly formed Bell Choir will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday for its first practice.An ISAFE presentation will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Parents will learn how to protect their children and themselves from online dangers including predator identification, cyber security, viruses, spam and spyware. This program will also provide a software overview of intellectual property rights, adult websites and how to avoid them.
