Butler will have a Ring in the Arts! New Year's Eve celebration featuring entertainment beginning tonight at 6 p.m. at various downtown locations.

Admission buttons are $5 per person over age 6; children 6 and younger are admitted free. Tonight buttons will be available at Cornerstone Commons, 201 S. Main St., and The Art Center, 344 S. Harmony will have a traditional, German-themed Silvester celebration to mark the end of 2009. The ball drop is at 6 p.m., as the party takes place on Germany's time.In the Mars area, the 10th annual Mars New Year's Eve Celebration will last from 9 p.m. until just after midnight in the town square.

Butler High School's Tornado Big Band will perform swing and jazz between 6 and 8 p.m. tonight at Cornerstone Commons, 201 S. Main St., as part of Butler's Ring in the Arts! celebration.

Brad Yoder will perform rock and a mix of music beginning at 10 p.m. tonight at Grace @ Calvary Church, 123 E. Diamond St., as part of Butler's Ring in the Arts! celebration.
