Ralph Williams, 73, of Middlesex Township died Friday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept 15, 1936, in Pittsburgh, to the late Charles and the late Philamena (Colangelo) Williams.

Mr. Williams was a union carpenter with Local 165 until his retirement in 1994.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge 64 in Butler and was conferred its highest recognition, that of the Pilgrim Degree of Merit, for his years of service and sacrifice for Mooseheart, Moosehaven and humanity.

He enlisted in the Navy and was in the Seabees and served for 20 years in the reserves until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Williams of Middlesex Township; a son, Ralph T. and his wife, "Bert," Williams of West Deer Township; a daughter, Sandra and her husband, David, Weber of Hampton Township; the mother of his children, Carol (Bova) Williams of Hampton Township; grandsons, Matthew Williams, Nicholas Williams and Andrew Weber; a granddaughter, Rachel Weber; a stepdaughter, Irene and her husband, Tim, Donnelly of Butler; a stepdaughter, Kim and her husband, Gary, Schnell of North Carolina; six step-grandchildren; and eight step-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Kuzma.

<B>WILLIAMS</B> — Visitation for Ralph Williams, who died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the <B>Herbert R.
