2:31 p.m. June 14 — A car driven by Sean Casey, 48, of Ohio and a car driven by Ashley Fisher, 20, of Franklin collided at the intersection of North Main and West Pearl streets. Casey was cited for not yielding the right of way coming from a stop sign.

4:11 p.m. Wednesday — No one was hurt in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on West Main Street near the McDonald's restaurant. The wreck happened when a car driven by a 17-year-old, who police did not identify, rear-ended another vehicle driven by Arthur Lovejoy, 57, of Kennerdell, Venango County, which was stopped in traffic.The collision, in turn, forced Lovejoy's vehicle into the back of a car driven by Amanda Wagner, 30, of Slippery Rock.Wednesday — A house in the 500 block of South Center Street was reportedly broken into and several prescription pills, commonly sold under the brand name Ritalin, were stolen. 12:10 a.m. Wednesday — An unknown man fled the scene of an apparent hit-and-run just after midnight Wednesday.The green convertible the man was driving struck a truck from behind in front of Rudy's Pub on Route 58.Police are still investigating the identity of the driver of the car.

8:05 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Matthew Shepherd, 20, of Evans City hit a guard rail along Route 62 in President Township. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
