KC boys win back-to-back KSAC crowns

Mark Ferguson and Dan Thuronyi each scored a goal while Andrew Harmon and Chris Harmon picked up the assists as the Karns City boys soccer team defeated Forest, 2-0 Monda.

The win gives the Gremlins (14-2-1) their first back-to-back conference titles in the program's history. Karns City will enter the District 9 Class AA playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

Knoch 3, Mars 2

- Scott Herman scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner, as the Knights edged the Planets.

Buddy Carr also scored a goal for Knoch (13-3, 12-2).

Slippery Rock 4, Grove City 0 -Jennifer Badgett tallied the shutout in goal as Melanie Prelec, Kelsey Drennen, Jence Rhoads and Brittany Frieters scored one goal apiece for the Rockets (14-4, 11-0).Karns City 6, Keystone 0 -Nikki McElroy scored three goals and had an assist while Kiersten Forback managed the shutout in net.Also scoring for the Gremlins (16-2, 10-0) was Brittni Grenninger, Allyson Kepple and Christina Endlish.Knoch 4, Burrell 0- Amanda Sharbaugh scored three goals and P.J. Abels netted one as the Knights recorded their second consecutive four-goal victory.Erin Lewis earned the shutout in goal for Knoch (11-7-1).The Knights close out the regular season tonight against Valley. Knoch earns the third playoff berth in the section with a win.

Jodi Leopold had 13 kills and 21 digs as the Mars volleyball team beat Avonworth 25-21, 25-19, 19-25, 25-22.Kelly Berry added 15 kills and Lacee Beitler had 24 digs for the Planets (15-1).Knoch 3, Northgate 0 -The Knights captured this match by scores of 25-15, 25-20 and 25-13.Carly Whisler led the way for Knoch (10-3, 9-3) with 14 kills while Ashley Thrower had 12 service points and Kirsten Brant had nine service points.
