• Only use fireworks outdoors.

• Always have water handy, either a bucket or a hose.

• Only use fireworks as intended. Never alter or combine them.

• Never relight a "dud" firework.

• Spectators should keep a safe distance from the shooter and the shooter should wear safety glasses.

• Never mix alcohol and fireworks.

• Only persons over the age of 12 should handle sparklers.

• Never use homemade fireworks of illegal explosives.
