Thursday — Bradley A. Michael, 28, of Butler crashed his car into the back of a tractor trailer on Center Avenue. Michael told police he could not see the rig, which was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Fairview Avenue because of the sun.Wednesday — Jessica Hilliard, 28, of Butler was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police found about a pound of the drug in her car, according to a police report.A resident told police that she witnessed possible drug activity occurring inside a parked car at the West Side Square. Police responded to the scene.After receiving a search warrant, police searched what turned out to be Hilliard's car and found about a pound of marijuana and about $5,000 cash.Hilliard was placed in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.

Tuesday — Kristen L. Hinkle, 35, reported a tan truck drove through the backyard of her Slippery Rock Township home on Copper Road. Estimated value of the landscape damage is $250.
