Butler Police
Monday — An undisclosed amount of money was found in the east side of the city. The owner may claim it by calling city police at 724-287-7743.
Butler Twp. Police
5 p.m. Thursday — Ronette Jean Shannon, 54, of Rankin, Pa., was charged with retail theft and trespassing after she was caught leaving Walmart with $66 worth of merchandise.
2:14 p.m. Thursday — A three-car rear end collision occurred along Evans City Road at its intersection with New Castle Road.
A car driven by Debra Freedline, 33, of Butler struck the back of a vehicle driven by Loretta Crawford, 38, of Butler while it was stopped at the red light of the intersection.
Crawford’s vehicle was pushed into the back of a car driven by Ronald Thompson, 68, also of Butler.
Crawford had minor injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
All vehicles had minor damage and were driven from the scene.
