8:26 p.m. Saturday — William H. Conner Jr., 37, of Brady Township was arrested following a confrontation with police in the 600 block of Center Avenue.Police were called for a man and woman fighting in the street and found Conner and 37-year-old Diane A. Conner of Brady Township yelling at one another. A police report did not indicate the relationship between the Conners.Diane Conner stopped for officers but William Conner walked away. When officers approached him, according to a police report, William Conner took an “aggressive stance” toward the officers and refused to show his hands.An officer deployed his Taser with its probes hitting William Conner in the chest area. He was taken into custody. Police said he smelled of alcohol.William Conner was later arrested on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.Diane Conner was cited for disorderly conduct.Friday — A thief stole the Pennsylvania license plate JRB1970 from a Butler man's sport utility vehicle parked on Ridge Avenue. The plate was taken between Wednesday and Friday.8:54 a.m. Tuesday — Nicholas A. Pappas Jr., 25, of Butler turned himself in at the police station on a felony arrest warrant issued last week to the Butler County Drug Task Force.Pappas is accused of selling marijuana to a police informant at Ritts Park in Butler, according to the court documents. He was arraigned on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies. He also is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.He was released on his own recognizance following arraignment.
2:55 a.m. Sunday — Jeremy D. Wilson, 34, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Main and Wayne streets in Butler.1:14 a.m. Friday — James Taylor, 39, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Bonniebrook Road just north of Pine Drive in Summit Township.
