Sunday — Someone attempted to pry a door open at a house in the 100 block of Orchard Drive in Center Township. The suspect was unable to gain entry.The damage to the door is estimated at $250.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.May 5 — Jeffrey D. Hay Sr., 51, of Butler allegedly removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle and fraudulently placed it on another vehicle he sold to Edward J. Hedzik, 34, of Ambridge.Hay was charged with altered, forged or counterfeit documents and plates along with various other inspection sticker violations.
3:29 p.m. Tuesday — Police are investigating a retail theft at the Walmart in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Police said someone stole $110 worth of boots, socks and insoles. Police list an unidentified 30-year-old man from Avonmore, Pa., as the suspect.4:15 p.m. Monday — Someone allegedly stole a Sony PlayStation 4 and three video games from a home on Freeport Road in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
