11 p.m. Thursday — Two teenage Butler boys were arrested for allegedly breaking into a car to steal a skateboard.Police said a 17-year-old teen smashed the back window of a car parked on East Locust Street after making an agreement to steal the skateboard for a 16-year-old.Both teens were charged with theft from a motor vehicle, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief.Police did not identify the teens.

3:12 p.m. Thursday — Valerie Downs-Ulisky, 23, and Tyler Irving, 30, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft after allegedly attempting to steal more than $200 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Butler Commons.

5:52 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jesse P Stitt, 19, of Adrian struck a utility pole along Marwood Road in Winfield Township.Police said Stitt fell asleep at the wheel and drove off the road. He sustained minor injuries and was cited for careless driving.Thursday — William Gall, 54, of Center Township reported someone damaged his car window with a BB gun while it was parked in the front parking lot of the Campbell Notary Service on Davis Road.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.3 p.m. Wednesday — Lori Ann Painter, 40, of Butler reported someone stole a .22 caliber rifle on the Freeport-Butler Trail while she was in a wooded area off the trail.The rifle was valued at $220.The incident is under investigation.3:11 a.m. June 26 — Derrick Hays, 23, of Butler was charged with DUI after being stopped in the 100-block of Thorn Run Road in Oakland Township.
