Sunday - Joseph Bratkovich, 28, of 205 E. Christy Ave. was arrested after police learned he was wanted on a warrant issued to police in Baltimore, Md.Butler police said Bratkovich had come to the police station for an undisclosed matter when it was discovered he was wanted for the out-of-state warrant stemming from a resisting arrest case.Officers arrested Bratkovich, who was allegedly found with drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned on charges of fugitive from justice and possession of drug paraphernalia, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000.Maryland authorities plan to extradite Bratkovich, police said.

Wednesday - About $1,180 was reportedly taken between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. in a theft at the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Police released no other information about the investigation.6:45 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Gail Schooley, 53, of Harmony struck a guard rail on Upper Harmony Road in Connoquenessing Township.4:06 p.m. Tuesday - An unidentified tractor trailer struck a car driven by Aimee Pieszak, 26, of Seven Fields on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township and did not stop.Tuesday - About 400 compact discs contained in three CD portfolios were taken between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 4:15 a.m. Tuesday from an unlocked truck at the Sunset Drive home of Ned Wittebort in Center Township.
